Update 5/9/2020 2:00 PM

EHBC family, our time of gathering again on campus is in sight. Hallelujah! We are currently in Phase One of our journey back to “normal” which means we will only be holding Sunday morning worship and Wednesday night Prayer and Bible Study. The worship areas have been marked for six foot social distancing. The deacons and ushers will seat you. We ask you sit with the family you have been with. We are still live streaming for those who are at risk, who are or have recently been ill,  and for those who for other reasons are waiting for the virus to be completely gone.  We also continue to welcome anyone else who wants to join in worship with us. The New Beginning will also be able to meet in their worship area. Small groups will still be meeting online only as they have these past few weeks. When the social distancing mandate is lifted, we will go into Phase two with small group guidelines. Masks are welcomed and will be available for those who want one. We ask you keep them and bring them back with you. They are not required, but for those who wish, they are available along with hand sanitizer. Please refrain from shaking hands, hugging, and getting too close to others. They may not feel as comfortable as you might, and we want everyone to feel they can keep proper distancing from others. We can seat just over one hundred in the sanctuary with proper distancing. Overflow will be directed to basement under sanctuary and possibly extending to fellowship hall to watch service on screens and worship with one another. Offering will be done with a drop in box in Narthex. More information will be forthcoming, but pass the word. A church cast will be sent after deacons have met and plans finalized. Please come ready to worship, but also ready to follow instructions from your deacons and staff. Together, we will make this an Easter like celebration. Pray for our nation, our state, our community, and our churches as we move forward from this difficult time. Bro. Wally

Phase 1 re-opening procedures:

  1. We will continue to provide online live streaming of services on Facebook and YouTube. These will be available for anyone who is uncomfortable with meeting in-person.

  3. There will be no nursery during services.
  4. Attendees are encouraged to wear surgical style masks. We will have some masks available at the door.
  5. We will abide by the Social Distancing rules.
    1. Families will enter the building when directed by an usher at front door and proceed as directed by additional ushers to a setting area.
    2. Families should sit together, including children and youth.
    3. You will be directed to your seat by an usher who will maintain social distancing with you and the next family group seated.
    4. We will only use the front door next to the sanctuary.
    5. When service is finished, we will dismiss by rows as directed. Families should exit the building when dismissed.  Please maintain social distancing in the parking lot.

Above all, we seek to go and tell others how they can know Christ as Savior and Lord. Trips are planned throughout the year and open to anyone.
